Here, the hold comes from the fabric, not from squeezing you. It's 87% polyamide and 13% spandex: the knit stretches to follow you, then pulls back against your body instead of going slack. The removable pads do the rest: keep them in for fuller coverage, take them out if you'd rather feel nothing at all. And because the fabric breathes and wicks sweat, nothing clings.
What it does, and what it doesn't. Gym sessions, yoga, walks, all-day wear: you're held without being squashed, and you forget it's there. We'd rather be upfront: this is moderate support. For high-impact workouts like running or jumping, especially with a C or D cup, you'll need more than this.
